I got to know Karen when she was a bridesmaid at a wedding I shot back in 2007 for Ciara & Ronan. I was delighted when she asked me to photograph her own wedding which took place last week at the Lough Erne Golf Resort in Fermanagh.
Ciara and Ronan just had a baby 5 weeks ago and Ciara couldn't make it to the wedding so I promised Ronan that I'd post some photographs for Ciara.

Karen & Marty are a lovely chilled out couple who seemed to really enjoy their day scooting around on the golf buggies and catching up with their friends. Congratulations to you both!

Gucci missed the e-session so we made sure she will be making an appearance in the wedding album.

Thanks to William for his help- Tanya he's a keeper!I wanted to give Jacinta and Ronan a sneak peak at some of their fabulous wedding images before they leave for warmer climates on their honeymoon (I'm jealous!)

The really cute thing about this e-session, apart from the good looking couple, is the fact that it was shot at the old homested in Monaghan where Sara's mum and dad lived when they first got married. The cottage is known as 'Emmas house' after an old woman who lived there before that! It's always nice when you can bring something a little personal like this into the shoot.

You gotta love this shot.

Sara and Brendan are getting married on 13th August this year (I normally get friday 13th off!). I'm really excited to shoot their wedding at the beautiful Corick House.

Julie & Aharon are getting married in August at the Killyhevlin Hotel in Fermanagh and thought they had better get some practice in before the big day!! We met on Monday, which happened to be a really nice sunny morning, and went to a Forest Park near Aharon's home for the shoot.Love the energy in this shot- go Julie!

Baby Daniel was born early on 23rd January 2010. He came with a full head of fluffy black hair which was like velvet to the touch. Mummy and daddy did well too for not getting much sleep and I can assure you that Daniel will treasure these photographs with them, especially when he is older.

It was Lesleys 18th B-Day. She has her own little 'look' which I really like and she is a sweet girl. We both enjoyed our session out in the morning sun followed by hot chocolate. While chatting we discovered that I photographed her cousins wedding last year. Small world.

Mum and Lesley and Charlotte all have special birthdays together in a few years so I look forward to seeeing them again then! Apparently Charlotte is even trendier than Les- could this be?

Annette has a fine collection of jewellery-she works in the local jewellers. Mark has good taste in jewellery too. He is very good to Annette and buys her lots of nice key pieces. Boys please take the hint!
Vera Wang eat your heart out... i loved the sweetheart cut with the cold shoulder detail-Annette designed these bridesmaid gowns herself.

Remember Annette and Mark that we still have to do your e-session with the dogs!!

Pamela & Poppy

This was the first photograph that I took on the morning of Pamela & Alan's wedding. Pamela had told me a little about Poppy but I could never have imagined how cute she would be! The thing I love about this photograph is the way that Pamela and Poppy have tilted their heads in a very similar way as if they just know each other really really well. I also love the fact that Poppy's little red dog tag is facing out so that you can see her name. Needless to say, Pamela has chosen this photograph as the first page in their wedding album! Woof woof!

I walked into ashling's house to the sound of Ladyhawk. It turns out she's a big fan too. I knew we were off to a good start! From her beautiful drop earrings to the pearls in her bouquet and her movie star hair everything about Ash's look was vintage.

Louise and Patrick, being a little camera shy, decided that it would be nice to get some photographs taken before they become Mr and Mrs later this year! Their shoot took place in the middle of the Sperrin mountains. By coincidence I got to meet both sets of parents, all the sheep and I even know how to get the the brides house via the church! Oh ... and I think they enjoyed themselves!

I just had to show you this. Sandra comes from a lovely big family of girls in Donegal whose weddings I have also shot. It is always a very stylish affair in the Noone house. With 4 sisters what do you expect! Sandra wore her Ian Stuart dress with a beautiful confidence and this was complimented by her 40's inspired headpiece from Dream Weddings in Coleraine. What a look. Lucky Daniel!

Alexandra is just 4 weeks old. She has the most amazing little lips and curls up into a tight little bundle to dose.Some people think that a baby of this age is too young to photograph but I truely believe that you can't get these moments back. These photographs are so precious both to the parents and for little Alexandra when she is older.

Oliver, Nicholas, Zoe & Sophie

Caroline read about my award in the paper and phoned me immediately to come to her home and take some photographs of her beautiful children. I was greeted with coffee and homemade cookies.

Zoe and Sophie are twins with very different personalities. I especially love the way the texture of Zoe's purple velvet dress came out in the photographs. Oliver and Nicholas are the big brothers who help look after the girls.

It was just as I was leaving Caroline and Rodgers house that I realised that I'd just taken photographs for Rodger Moore!

Indochina

Hi everyone, well I'm back from beautiful South East Asia. My travels took to me to Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. Each country was very different. Laos was laid back, Vietnam was vivacious and Cambodia was crazy. Can't wait to share my photographs with you. Watch this space.

I had great fun with Ben and his cute little sis Mia. They showed me all their things as soon as I got in and I made a real connection with them. The highlight of the day for all of us was running over the field to granny's house! Katrina, what a nice view from the kitchen sink!

Dawn and Terry enjoyed a very romantic day. I loved Dawn's fitted dress with the slight kick at the bottom. The flowergirls were so cute together. The yellow field was just over a tiny bridge definately not accessible by the Limo so Dawn and Terry jumped into my car- shots worth getting I think you'll agree!
